The pizza is so amazing. The sauce is authentic, great atmosphere and wonderful service. You would only be disappointed IF you DIDN’T eat here while in Sarasota. Ask for Chris to be your waiter. Sorry for the photos as we already devoured the food!!Enjoy the food, the people and the atmosphere !!!

This was a great place to grab pizza. I only ordered a classic NY style pizza but it was delicious! Crust was excellent, cooked enough to be flavorful and crispy where it needed to be, but not dry or flaky. Cheese was fresh and the sauce was seasoned perfectly. I popped in and missed a rush so my pizza was ready within 7 mins or so. Staff are super friendly and helpful with a great range of pizza and food on offer. I would definitely go here again! Thanks for some delicious and genuine Italian / NY pizza!

This is it, I finally found it. Hands down the best brick & mortar pizza joint in Florida. Real Brooklyn pizza from the dough, to the sauce, to the experience. Eric & the other owners were extremely accommodating & grateful. Local NY’ers in n out claiming it reminds them of “back home pies”. Perfectly cooked under carriage, just the right amount of char on the crust, the arancini de risotto was one of the best I’ve had.

You won't find this place right away. small local pizzeria. They make truly amazing pizza. we ordered a chicken pizza and another one with prosciutto. We decided to sit outside since the room was quite crowded. if you work with the interior on the street, then this will be a super-class establishment, since the food here is really tasty. We will definitely come again.

For lunch today I had most delicious pizza at Capo Pazzo Pizzeria . The perfect blend of flavors and crispy crust. Pizza perfection! Capo Pazzo Pizzeria in Sarasota never disappoints. Since moving here from New York I've been craving a place like this here in Florida, so thank you for existing! Check it out!! The mama Margarita is out of this world

Great atmosphere, hard working staff, and delicious food! My new favorite pizza place. It was a little crispy, but delicious nonetheless. Vodka pizza is my favorite and it’s not easy to find. I look forward to coming here every year on vacation now.

We had a fantastic dinner at Capo Pazzo last night! The food was excellent—we enjoyed pizzas, salad, and eggplant Parmigiano, paired with both red and white wine. Steve, the owner, stopped by to introduce himself and check in on our experience, and our server, Chris, was outstanding. With four out of the six of us being New Yorkers with high standards for pizza, we were impressed—the pizza and overall meal were delicious. The wine was great too. We’ll definitely be back!

Tried Capo for the first time today and was far from disappointed. From the moment I walked in the door to pick up my order to getting to enjoy the food. When I walked in I was greeted by everyone working even the guys cooking in the back. Eric apologized the pizza wasn’t ready yet because they had just finished cooking the chicken fresh for the buffalo chicken Sicilian. ( I wasn’t in a hurry and I was also early for my pick up time.) while I sat and waited I observed they all really strive not only for quality food but service as well. Eric kept friendly conversation with me in between prepping food/answering phones/ and what looked like training someone. Before adding sauce to the pizza Eric let me know they use BC not ranch and asked if I’d prefer ranch. Really glad he did ask because I prefer ranch and didn’t realize they use BC. When leaving I asked for a side of ranch to go and was given a good amount and not even charged (which is a shocker considering most places charge .50-1 for a tiny cup of sauce. (The little things) After leaving I headed to my destination to eat. The size of the pizza and quality was more than worth the price. I had one slice and my bf had two slices . We gave away the rest only because we were too stuffed and didn’t want it to go to waste. (We fed 6 of us off of the one pizza) Best Sicilian I’ve probably ever had. Everyone else felt the same that we shared with. I can’t wait to go back and try to regular NY style pizza and other menu items.
